Privacy policy

This policy explains how RideUZ handles your personal data when you use rideuzb.com, contact us or book a trip. Version of 20 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is GG Services Limited, Hong Kong, which operates RideUZ. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@rideuzb.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.

2. What we collect

Booking data: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email, pickup and drop-off details, dates and times, flight or train number, number of guests, children’s ages for child seats, luggage and special requests. Communications: messages you send us and our replies. Website data: if analytics is enabled and you accept analytics cookies, pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics. We do not ask for passport numbers unless a border or site requires them for a specific trip.

3. Why we use it

To take, confirm and perform your booking and share the necessary details with the driver (performance of a contract); accounting records (legal obligation); handling complaints, preventing fraud and improving our service (legitimate interests); website analytics (consent). We do not send marketing unless you opt in, and we never sell your data.

4. Who we share it with

Your driver and the transport provider receive only what they need: your name, phone, pickup details, flight or train number, number of guests and special requests. On cross-border trips the driver on the other side and our sister service (RideKG, RideKZ or RideTJ) receive the same. Service providers acting as our processors: Resend (booking emails), Telegram (internal notifications to our dispatch team) and, if enabled, Google Analytics. WhatsApp (Meta) if you contact us there. Authorities where we are legally required to.

5. International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong, rides take place in Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries, and our providers may process data in the United States, the EU and elsewhere. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by our providers, and on the necessity of the transfer to perform the contract you asked for.

6. How long we keep it

Booking records: 3 years after the trip. Enquiries that did not become bookings: up to 12 months. Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@rideuzb.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority or, in Hong Kong, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.

8. Cookies

The site works without cookies. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the banner.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version.
