Landing in Tashkent at night: getting to your hotel
A lot of international flights land in Tashkent after midnight. A pre-booked sedan costs $25 plus $5 between 23:00 and 06:00 — $30 in total, fixed — and the driver waits with your name after customs, however long passport control takes.

Airport → any hotel in Tashkent, 20–35 minutes at night. Paid to the driver in cash, US dollars or sum. No prepayment.
How it works
Send us your flight number. We track it, so a delay costs you nothing: 60 minutes of free waiting start when the plane actually lands. The driver stands at the exit of the international arrivals hall with a sign with your name; the evening before, you get the driver’s name, phone and plate.
In the arrivals hall at night
Exchange desks and SIM-card counters are in the arrivals hall, but not every counter is staffed in the small hours. You do not need sum for the ride — pay the driver in US dollars — and you can buy a SIM in the city in the morning.
Taxi apps at night
Yandex Go works in Tashkent at night too and is cheaper if you have mobile data on landing. Without a local SIM, with children or with a lot of luggage, a pre-booked car means no hunting for Wi-Fi and no haggling with drivers at the exit.
Straight on to Samarkand?
You can drive straight from the airport to Samarkand: 310 km, 4–4.5 hours, $110 for a sedan — the same price as from the city. After a night flight many travellers prefer to sleep in Tashkent first and leave in the morning by car or Afrosiyob. Warn your hotel that you arrive at night; an early check-in is often charged as an extra night.
